How to Remove" Powered By Blogger" attribute ?

Many bloggers are wanted to remove that powered by attribute from blogger and feel its a independent site.

it's cool for every one think about it but they are unable to remove that even they go and try many things in layout section

trust me its so easy and in just few simple steps

Before doing steps how it looks
 if we try to edit attribute no remove button available

after following the steps

Follow this steps to remove powered by blogger attribute from your blog

1. Go to Blogger Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML.(In new U.I it is Dashboard > Template)
2. As always download a copy of your template
3. Tick "Expand Widget Templates" check box
4. Now search for below code in your template

<b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'>

Replace locked='true' with locked='false'

Now save your template and go to Layout page. .
Click on the edit link of attribution widget.
